1. Definitions
• “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to the person booking services through our platform.
• “Service Provider” refers to individuals or businesses who offer pet care services listed on our platform.
• “Services” refers to all offerings on our platform, including cat boarding, sitting, consultations, and associated activities.
2. Eligibility
To book services or register an account, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old;
• Provide accurate, complete personal information;
• Have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
3. Service Booking
• All bookings are subject to availability.
• You must provide accurate information regarding your pet’s health, behaviour, vaccinations, and special needs.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if the pet poses a safety risk or is not fit for boarding.
4. Payment & Fees
• All prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• Payments must be made in advance through the methods provided.
• Late payments or cancellations may result in fees (see Section 5).
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
• Client-initiated cancellations: Refunds may be provided according to our cancellation policy posted at the time of booking.
• Provider-initiated cancellations: We will assist in finding a replacement or issue a full refund.
• Refunds, if any, will be processed within 7–14 business days.
6. Responsibilities of the Client
You agree to:
• Ensure your pet is up to date on all vaccinations;
• Disclose any history of aggression, illness, or behavioural issues;
• Provide sufficient food, medication, and supplies for the booking duration.
• Understand that aggressive, sick, or misrepresented pets may be refused or removed without refund for safety.
7. Limitation of Liability
• We act as a platform to connect clients with independent service providers. We are not liable for the conduct or performance of third-party providers.
• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and does not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services.
8. Insurance & Licensing
• Some providers may hold pet boarding licences as required by local authorities; however, we cannot guarantee this unless explicitly stated.
• Clients are responsible for verifying such credentials where necessary.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
• Misrepresent any information;
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any person or animal.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, text, graphics, and website functionality are the property of Cattery001 and protected under intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Risk Acknowledgement & Liability Waiver
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• While we and our Service Providers strive to provide safe, attentive care, animals can behave unpredictably, and unforeseen events (including illness, injury, escape, or death) may occur despite reasonable precautions.
• Cattery001 and its Service Providers are not liable for any loss, injury, illness, or death of any pet unless caused by proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• You, as the owner, accept full responsibility for any medical costs, property damage, or third-party claims resulting from your pet’s behaviour while in our care.
• You confirm that your pet is in good health and has not been exposed to any contagious diseases in the 30 days prior to booking.
• In the event of a medical emergency, you authorise us to seek veterinary care and agree to cover all associated costs.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
